Call for the selection of Civil Service volunteers – exp. h14:00 of 10/10/2019

The Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers has published the Call for the selection of 39,646 volunteer operators to be employed in universal civil service projects in Italy and abroad.

Volunteers will be included during the course of the 2019/2020 in one of the 3,797 approved projects with a duration ranging from 8 to 12 months. The service hours, equal to 25 hours per week, include a monthly allowance of € 439.50 and the recognition of the period carried out for social security purposes.

For volunteer operators involved in projects that involve staying abroad, it is considered that a specific allowance is added to this sum, as well as food and accommodation. The selection of candidates is carried out directly by the body that carries out the financed project and the start date of the volunteer operators in service is therefore differentiated taking into account the term of the selection procedures and compilation of the rankings by each body.

As regards the Basilicata Region, 35 projects have been approved for a total of 226 volunteers . Young people aged 18 to 28 can participate in the selections on the date of submission of the application to participate which must be sent exclusively through the Online Application (DOL) platform accessible via PC, tablet and smartphone and no later than 14:00 of 10 October 2019.

It is possible to submit only one application for participation for a single project and a single site. At the end of the service, the voluntary operator will be issued by the Department a certificate of completion of the civil service drawn up on the basis of the data provided by the body, as well as a certificate or certification of recognition and enhancement of the skills produced by the body itself, according to the procedures provided for by each project.
