“Famiglie in forma” (Families in shape) project

“Famiglie in forma” (Families in shape) is a project carried out by ID MaKERS training institution, as leader of a social partnership and as part of a public notice funded by OP ESF Basilicata 2014-2020.

The project set as a “main target” groups in which alcohol-related problems were present but immediately there was the need to act also on the other members of the family and in particular on minors in order to support the processes of personal growth and a more balanced relational dynamics.

The interventions focused on various social frailties with a work of family composition / recomposition. There was several requests for help from mothers and fathers for the real difficulties of their daily context in which, for example, underage children leave their home or, on the contrary, suffer from the hikikomori syndrome for which their closed room becomes the only one possible world.

The framework in which ID Makers worked was therefore extremely varied: from the mother entrusted to a group home that needs to communicate the detention of the father to the daughters, to some families with cases of ludopathy addiction or domestic violence and families with underage children with learning disabilities or cognitive impairment.

The series of actions put in place to support the various beneficiaries have therefore provided for activities useful to overcome their difficulties (information and initial orientation, family mediation, parental support, specialist support for minors of the same family, mutual help groups) and to redesign their future (skills maintenance, inclusive workshops, time bank).

The project received € 75,000 in support
