European Social Sound 4U

European Social Sound 4U also comes to life in Basilicata with the two regional semifinals that will take place on October 19 in Potenza, at the CineTeatro Due Torri and on October 26 in Melfi, at the Ruggieri Theater.ESS 4U is a musical format that combines a contest for high-level emerging bands to an information initiative on the activities of the European Social Fund (ESF) .

4 the regions participating in the project: Umbria, Basilicata, Tuscany, Sicily. The winners of the various regional qualification evenings will compete for prizes in the final which will take place in Matera, on 14 December 2019. The winning band of the national final and of the critics’ prize will win a prize money in useful services to promote their artistic activity.

During the regional semi-finals of professionals in the sector, as judges , they will judge the different performances. In addition, spectators will be able to contribute with their votes online on the website www.europeansocialsound.it/basilicata/ to the victory of their favorite band.

During the evening, moreover, video testimonies of young Lucanians will be transmitted who, after having used the opportunities supported from the ESF Basilicata (continuous training courses, university and non-university masters, etc.) have specialized their skills for entering the labor market.

These videos can also be voted online on the Facebook page of the ESF Basilicata and prizes will be distributed and gadgets during the event.
