ReStartApp: Training and support for business projects on the Apennines – Call deadline 17/04/2020

The Edoardo Garrone Foundation, committed to relaunching the Apennine economy and in collaboration with Uncem, supports youth entrepreneurship planning with the ReStartApp project: a 10-week free residential campus for young people under 40 who have a business idea to The Campus is open free of charge to a maximum of 15 participants selected on the basis of a Call for Ideas and a motivational interview.

The Foundation also makes available 60 thousand euros in prizes for the three best projects. Candidates must meet specific requirements:

  • Be under 40 years old (at the expiry date of the call)
  • Be Italian citizens or foreign citizens residing on Italian territory
  • ‘business idea, a company established for less than 18 months or being the owner / partner of a network of companies, in the areas:
  • – agriculture, forest management, agri-food and livestock
  • – tourism, crafts and culture
  • – manufacturing and tertiary Businesses and startups must be innovative and sustainable
  • – in the agricultural, agri-food, livestock, tourism, cultural, manufacturing and tertiary sectors – capable of providing a concrete contribution to the relaunch and enhancement of the Apennine territory.

Free campus, will be held in Fabriano (AN) from 14 September to 26 November with an intermediate break from 17 to 25 October. The teaching plan, divided into 10 weeks, tackles various issues related to mountain entrepreneurship and is formulated to best adapt to the business ideas of the participants, who have the opportunity to learn: techniques for managing rural and mountain production processes; macro and micro economic trends; theories and tools of traditional and digital marketing; techniques and tools for obtaining funding, contributions and financial concessions for the start-up for the management of the business; virtuous and successful experiences in the entrepreneurial and development of the territory; life experiences, rural work ENROLLMENT THROUGH THE ON-LINE FORM CALL FOR CALL 17 APRIL 2020 AT 1:00 PM
